In just three minutes or less with no tools, screws, or bolts needed, individual components lock snugly together to become sturdy, stable office and home pieces that will provide many years of high-quality service. Legaré's Select line is made of engineered composite wood with solid-wood surface veneers. Engineered wood, manmade from small wood pieces and adhesives, has several environmental advantages: large panels of wood can be made from small-diameter trees; the use of wood scraps and wood with defects reduces waste; and engineered products are often stronger and less prone to warping from humidity than solid timber. Plus, all the wood Legaré uses is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

This 31-inch peninsula attaches to any Legaré desk with a reversible asymmetric design that allows left- or right-handed placement. The generously curvy work surface maximizes space while offering a hip modern look, and the unit comes with one 24-inch shelf and three slots below, spaced 6-3/8 inches apart, for either easy adjusting or adding more shelves (sold separately). The peninsula also provides concealed cable management and includes an attachment piece to secure it to the adjoining desk. Available in an ash veneer with an Espresso finish and an oak veneer with a Wheat finish, it requires only two minutes to assemble and a few seconds to disassemble.
